Enough selfies in the field, say police in Ontario

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reminds the public that it is illegal to enter a field to take a photo. Damage of about $2,000 was caused last weekend, according to the OPP.

This crop damage was recorded in Melanchton County north of Toronto, police said.

No one is allowed to enter a field just to take a perfect shotlaunch the POP on Twitter.

The police recall that it is a forced entry, even if there is no fence or prohibition sign.

If you cause damage, you could face criminal chargesadds the OPP.

Police are urging anyone who sees someone entering a field for a selfie to contact them, by calling 1-888-310-1122.
