Clara Sorrenti, 28, better known as avatar Keffals, was the victim of a malicious alert (swattingin English), two weeks ago.
She has since decided to rent a hotel room in the London area, worried that people who wish to harm her have obtained her address.
However, the harassment continued despite her temporary move, she claimed.
Ms Sorrenti told CBC that her address was discovered by someone who hacked into her Uber account.

A London police spokesperson said they could not comment on the situation as the criminal investigation into Ms Sorrenti’s situation is still ongoing.
In the meantime, Ms. Sorrenti plans to travel to Europe for a month or two. She declined to share more information about her departure date or destination.
She claims her stalkers tried to put her on an international no-fly list.
