Kylie Jenner, influencer, businesswoman and member of the Kardashian clan, has become the most followed woman in the world on Instagram by reaching the incredible figure of more than 300 million subscribers.
Her account showed Thursday morning 301 million subscribers, placing her behind the soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo (389 million) and the champion in all categories, namely the official account of the social network itself (460 million).
The influencer overtook singer Ariana Grande, who was previously the most popular woman on the social network. She is now in second place, ex aequo with actress and singer Selena Gomez.
Growing up on the small screen
Kylie Jenner, 24, shot to fame by appearing on the reality show keeping up with the Kardashians, alongside his half-sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian.
She went on to found the beauty products company Kylie Cosmetics, among other lucrative forays into the business world.
The wealthy young woman had already (temporarily) broken an Instagram record in 2018 by collecting more than 18 million likes for a photo announcing the arrival of her daughter Stormi. Before an egg photo, published precisely in the form of a challenge to overtake Kylie Jenner, beat it flat seams in 2019. The egg now has more than 55 million likes.
Pregnant with her second child, the girlfriend of rapper Travis Scott has been less present on Instagram lately, after the tragedy at the Astroworld festival in Houston, Texas, in November.
Ten people died there in a crowd movement during a concert by Travis Scott, today the subject of several complaints.
