Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will offer eight downloadable tracks in August

These tracks were unveiled in a trailer which first offers a glimpse of Cité sorbet, an radiant tableau of fluorescent colors dotted with cones, lollipops and ice creams of all kinds.

The other seven circuits are remastered versions for the Wii U console, which we have seen previously on Super NES, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Wii or on the mobile versions of Mario Kart.

These are Mario Circuit 3, New York Getaway, Kalimari Desert, Flipper Waluigi, Sydney Sprint, Snowy Country, and Mushroom Gorge, which are split into the new Turnip and Chopper cups.

This content is included in the second of six waves of tracks – for a total of 48 – that Nintendo will roll out by the end of 2023. They will be downloadable through the Additional Tracks Pass, which can be purchased at cost $32.99 or by purchasing a Nintendo Switch Online membership with add-on set.
