Microsoft sells ugly Minesweeper Christmas sweater

For the second year in a row, Microsoft is selling “Ugly Christmas Sweaters” inspired by iconic Windows operating system software. This time the famous game Minesweeper is featured.

On the blue sweater, sold for $ 97.95, we see part of the game in the shape of a Christmas tree. The game interface indicates that there are 1990 mines left to discover, to recall the year the game was first included in a version of Windows.

Last year, the jerseys instead featured reproductions of Windows logos or Paint, the drawing software widely recognized for its rudimentary capabilities.

Microsoft says it uses some of the proceeds from the sale of sweaters to donate US $ 100,000 ($ 128,000) to AbleGamers, an organization that uses video games to prevent isolation from people with disabilities.

The Microsoft store, however, indicates that the jerseys are already out of stock. Those who wish to purchase one can subscribe to a mailing list to find out when new items of clothing will be available.
