NATO plans permanent military presence on its borders, says Stoltenberg | War in Ukraine

NATO is working on a plan for a permanent military presence on its borders to prevent future Russian aggression, the Telegramquoting the Secretary General of the Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg.

L’North Atlantic Treaty Organization is in the midst of a fundamental transformation which will reflect the long-term consequences actions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Jens Stoltenberg said in an interview with the British newspaper.

We are now witnessing a new reality, a new ‘normal’ for European security. That’s why we asked our military commanders to present options for what we call a reset, a long-term adaptation of NATO. »

Jens Stoltenberg, who recently agreed to extend his term as head of theNorth Atlantic Treaty Organizationalso said that decisions regarding this reset will be taken at the Alliance summit to be held in Madrid in June.
