Afro-dance, you know? A new course is being offered starting September 21 in Greater Sudbury. Led by the choreographer and dancer Pierre-André Muila, the latter details the origins of this style of dance which allows you to exercise while having fun.

It is a project of the Center de santé communautaire du Grand Sudbury, accompanied by Pierre-André Muila, the choreographer and winner of the 1st season of “Par ici le talent”.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, he has lived in Sudbury since 2017. He shares his passion for dance with us.

I have always had this passion for dancing. I’ve been dancing since I was a young teenager […] This is one of my visions becoming a reality. I am delighted and very happy to share Afro dance, Afro hip-hop, which is still quite a revolutionary dance these days… »

Classes take place from Wednesday, September 21, 2022, and take place every two weeks, at 5 p.m.

It also represents the sharing of culture, and something new in the city of Sudbury adds Mr. Muila.
