On Friday evening, Russia announced the expulsion of 18 European Union (EU) diplomats from Moscow, in retaliation for the expulsion of the 19 diplomats from the Russian mission to theEU and the European Atomic Energy Community, a body responsible for coordinating research programs on nuclear energy.
