On her most recent trip, traveler Sara-Christine Gemson, visited West Africa. There, she discovered the rich cultural heritage of the country in addition to deepening her knowledge of the different religions practiced by the citizens.
Throughout her trip, she was able to attend animist ceremonies, visit Christian and Muslim places. The music accompanied her throughout her visit as she learned more about the meaning of the masks, their roles and their importance.
