When it comes to hormonal upheavals, we think quite spontaneously of adolescence, but less of the phenomenon accompanying women from their forties for some: menopause and perimenopause, this period of transition which leads to the complete cessation of rules.

Twelve continuous months without menstruation sound the death knell for the production of estrogen and progesterone, hormones that regulate several functions of the female body. This cessation can result in several symptoms, including hot flashes, insomnia, mood disorders, lack of concentration, vaginal dryness or decreased libido. So many inconveniences that hormone therapy tries to relieve.
