US: High demand for morning-after pills forces CVS to limit purchases


The group claims to have in its stores and on its site large stocks Plan B and Aftera, two products intended to be taken within three days of unprotected intercourse and intended to prevent fertilization.

According to wall street journalsupermarket chain Walmart was also limiting sales of morning-after pills to four or six boxes for orders due for delivery by the end of the month, but not for those due to ship from early July.
