All this commotion against this rise in crime raises eyebrows Tricia Harris, an African-American who lives in the Cascade Heights neighborhood in the southwest of the city of Atlanta.
It’s a much more dangerous neighborhood here than Buckhead, which is the safest neighborhood in the area. You know the expression ”paying for the broken pots”? Income inequality is so great in Atlanta that thugs go where the money is, but violent crime, muggings, murders, and robberies happen outside of Buckhead. Unfortunately, these are often crimes that involve black people.
In this seemingly peaceful middle-class neighborhood with a strong African-American dominance, the antithesis of Buckhead, mostly white and very well-off, what worries most about the separation project is the devastating impact on families.
